Not only was The Black Barn Event Planning very professional and great about answering everyone’s questions, but they were also willing to fix last minute mistakes that I had made before the wedding without me even noticing. I am a very particular person, and Sam was amazing and ensured that all of my particular requests were heard. "I can not be more grateful and pleased with Sam if I tried!! I hired her for The Day of Coordinator to help everything run smoothly. Her professionalism & knowledge was just what we needed to make this happen. Her sweet personality was a huge bonus and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. The communication between her and my daughter was excellent. Sam was very prompt with answering any of my daughter’s questions prior, during and after the wedding. Her service fee is VERY reasonable. She traveled from Dayton, three hours each way, for the rehearsal and for the wedding !! Sam and her team helped box all the centerpieces and miscellaneous items while we were still enjoying the evening. This was a huge help and I was very thankful for the extra time that was freed up for us to spend with family and friends. There was a small hiccup with our food caterer and Sam quickly jumped in and solved the problem. I could not have asked for a more perfect day for my daughter, it was everything she dreamed of and we were all stress free thanks to Sam. I would HIGHLY recommend The Black Barn Event Planning. Sam was great from the moment I consulted with her to be our day of coordinator. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND what I expected! Initially we thought we just needed someone to set up and tear down our wedding but Sam asked all the right questions and really made sure our event was planned out to the finest details. She took so much stress off of me from the first time I talked to her and continued that calming, “we got this” presence all throughout the night. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to make sure our day went off without a hitch. She set up everything exactly how I envisioned it, followed my instructions and suggestions to a tee and really brought my romantic garden style wedding to life. She also let me borrow a cute mannequin to display my dress which made for some great pictures!
